Telefunken mini Partner 201 AM/FM Transistor Radio
This AM/FM transistor radio was made by Telefunken Deutschland (Gesellschaft für drahtlose Telegraphie Telefunken mbH) from 1973 to 1978. It had 10 transistors driven by Superheterodyne with a frequnecy ZF/IF 460/10700 kHz and was powered by 4 x 1,5 Volt batteries.
Dimensions are (WHD) 70 x 120 x 40 mm (2.8" x 4.7" x 1.6") and weighs with batteries xxxg (xxxoz).
Interesting tidbit: The FM tuner only goes up 107 MHz. Radio stations beyond that cannot be recieved. Standard frequency range (Germany) is from 87,5 MHz - 108 MHz.
If memory serves me correctly, this was one of my first portable radios I owned as a kid and I definitely know that I had this Telefunken radio in black as seen below.
The radio functions very well. However, I will look at all the electrolytic capacitors and measure their health. The caps will be replaced, if needed.
