I built this kit in the spring of 1982 and used it to compete at the Space Modeling World Championships in Poland in 1983 for the German National Team. On its first flight, it glided out of sight and was lost or so I thought. Later that day, a competitor came up to our tent with the glider in his hand. I was thrilled that it had been found, and I’ve never flown it again, out of fear of losing it once more.
