A Friday in the Austrian mountains, 19. September 2003

I wanted to take a last day trip to Austria before the cold season begins and the snow in the mountains makes driving an M3 a challenge. Luckily I wasn't alone as I had a lovely codriver to enjoy the trip with

Below some pictures of the day.

First stop was in Garmisch Parten Kirchen for some capuchino before the mountains would call for us.

I think she enjoyed the trip just as much as I did, especially our trip back home on the Autobahn

Here we stopped to have lunch ca. 1800 meters (5910 feet) above sea level.
